Booking Your Trip to Port A

When planning your trip, booking a vacation rental directly through a rental company rather than a third party is a great way to start saving before you even arrive for your vacation. You can look at the main page of our website under Port Aransas vacation rentals and view some of the amazing homes we have for rent to start planning your trip today. Once you arrive in Port Aransas there are plenty of activities to keep you and your crew entertained for free!

Spending Your Day at the Port A Beaches

A day on the gorgeous Port A coast is always a memorable experience. Whether you’re hunting for shells, walking down the coast line, or taking a dip in the Gulf of Mexico you will enjoy the sunshine and are guaranteed to have a good time.

Enjoy the Outdoor Sporting Activities

Want a little competition in your vacation, head over to the Port Aransas Pickle Ball Courts. Everyone is invited to enjoy getting in on the fun of this sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton,  and ping pong. There are three courts that are available to use, if you have your own equipment you can play any time or if not call the Parks & Rec office (361) 749-4158 to check out equipment for free and hit the court.

Dog Friendly Activities for Your Furry Friend

Port Aransas loves its fur babies. If you brought your four legged friend along for the vacation, be sure to take them over to the Port A dog park! The dog park has shaded picnic tables, doggie water fountains and fire hydrants for your pups to enjoy.

Historical Sites in Port Aransas

Want to check out some local history, head on over to the Chapel on the Dunes. Sitting high on a sand dune overlooking the Gulf of Mexico sits the oldest functional consecrated church on the island. Built between 1937 and 1938 by Aline B. Carter this historical church is one of the eight wonders of Port Aransas and is the site for many small weddings, memorial services, and baptisms.
